I don't think he will slate it, I saw him driving an M6 GC in LDN and he was smiling from ear to ear! He'll love it like we all do!

So are these going to be down to 40k in 3 years? Assuming they are really 70K at the outset, there must be a good chance.

At that point, they look a fantastic used buy.

Jon - your car is LOVELY!

I've had an F10 M5 for a year now and 10k but considering changing for something a bit nicer looking. My car looks too much like a 5 series but the drive is just fantastic and an occasion each time.
Is the M6 any better?

Thanks for the kind words guys, but the great deals on these are now gone, I paid just under £74K for a very good spec, got £57K for my LCI M5 with 12K miles on the clock.
I could not buy this car today for that money.

Now, one of those, I have to have.

Sadly my toy budget is only £30k so it will be a while...

Sadly even F10 M5's will not drop that much IMO.

They will follow the normal depreciation graph. Things always do. Four years from now the new platform will have been launched and there will probably be some hypercar-electric motor four wheel drive M car that defies the laws of physics whilst returni 55mpg or something.

Pre-LCI V10 M5's are looking pretty unloved now.

I have the same thoughts really. but I think M5's and M6's will take a bigger hit than expected.
roll in the Tesla models.
