After spending a good few months trying to find the right car plus one that has covered under 60k was proving to be hard work. More frustratingly, my E63 AMG Tourer had 34k on the clock, under MB warranty, and can be had for a good few grand cheaper than the equivalent M5.

Prices seem to be going up which I guess can only be a good thing....

Anyhow, hopefully I will see some of you at future events :-)

What are your first impressions compared to the E63? Why the change?

I sold the AMG a few months ago due to building works currently underway.

The AMG was a great car and far more luxurious than the M5, but I wanted a drivers car and tbh the M5 excels in every department in that respect. Otherwise running cost and performance are on par with each other.

Interesting. I had an E55 before and swore never to go back to Merc but they have upped their game again and I keep looking at the E63. Definitely prefer a drivers car though as its not a daily.
