common as muck and over hyped and overpriced E30 M3
Just to play devils advocate for a moment, in what way are they overhyped? whistle
Strange assertion.

Slow by modern standards yes.

Looks, purity, handling, rarity. That's why they are 'hyped'

I have to agree, to overlook an E30 M3 because it isn't very quick is to utterly miss the point.

Perhaps 'over hyped' and 'common as muck' were too strong a choice of words, trying to free off seized brakes does'nt put one in the best of moods too type on a forum!

I'm a big fan of all BMW M cars,E30 M3 included, remember back in the day when they were reasonable money before the price explosion, nearly bought a mint E30 M3 Evo2 a few years back, the guy actually wanted to swap it with my Evo saloon plus cash his way ofcourse!I just wasn't that keen on it after the drive, seem a backward step to me,yes the E30 felt more 'alive' and playful and you can feel the race bred tuning but I decided to keep my E36 for the better refinement and power...all a purely personal thing,as an investment I was stupid ofcourse as that low miles E30 Evo2 would have been worth a small fortune now
