I've been to see this already and have another appointment booked. Keen to hear the Forum's feedback.

I need to follow up on the Running In service as think that's a typo. If not, that could be a problem as it's too early, which might explain why it's had an Inspection II at 37k...?

Edit, followed up on Running In and it is a typo. 1,169miles is the correct number.

Mine was the same grey colour and age as this one and it never missed a beat. IIRC there are only 89 cars in the UK in that colour.

It is strong money though. Trade value for that is closer to £8k based on what BMW offered me for mine a year ago.

Great thanks for that. So provided I can find one (not many in my area at the minute) I need to make sure it's just had an inspection 2! I got stung on a basic service and MOT on mine using my local main dealer so yes, I think I'd be getting the wear and tear items replaced elsewhere. Just need to convince the other half that < 20mpg is reasonable biggrin
20mpg smile I've averaged 27mpg, half urban (London), over three years.

I'm averaging 22mpg from a 325 but it's about 85% urban!

Not entirely sure I'd call 40k low miles, but four owners in eight years definitely seems reasonable to me. I have seen many Boxsters which have changed owner on a pretty much annual basis - very common for sporty roadster cars which are often second/third cars.

For me I would not buy it based on the colour combo of boring and boring... but that's personal taste I guess.

Just to chip in. The metallic colours suit these cars better, in the real world IMO. The none metallic often look better in pictures for some reason. My personal favorite colour combo would be Sepang Bronze, with a champagne interior and carbon dash. I'm pretty sure a little more searching will find a better car, for similar money, than the one in the add.

I recently bought myself a Z4M Roadtser in Interlagos Blue with Champagne - best combination...

Was an 08 plate with 1 owner from new and 42k miles. Extra spec was heated seats, wind deflector, nav, upgraded hi-fi (DSP), cruise, storage pack - so non-flimper spec which quite a few are!

I've not got time to post a pic - but in side profile it looks the same as BillyWhizzz's pic!

I bought it from BMW an an AUC and paid less than £15k with 6 months of tax thrown in so I'd say the 06 Silver car the OP referred to looks slightly strong money.
