F10 M5 oil usage

10000 miles, no oil requested yet. Mostly small commutes with the odd long run.

I ran it in quite aggressively.

Had mine from 5k miles old and used to carry a 5 litre bottle for regular top ups. Used 10 litres in the next 9k miles then serviced and hasn't used a drop in the last 2k miles since.
Mainly longer runs but can sit for 2 weeks without use.
BTW it's a 2012 car.

It is more common than you might think that dealers put the wrong oil in these cars, with the M-series Castrol oil being the wrongly used oil.

I argued till I was blue in the face with two dealers and BMW UK before they all acknowledged that I was, in fact, correct......stunning or what?!
