I think it may be a tough sell unless they start dropping the price of the 2 series in general.
The m4 starts at 55k an m234i is 40k. So where exaxtly will the m2 be priced... As far as I can tell to me anyway, why buy an m235i when relatively speaking an m4 isn't too much more, then factor in deala, discounts preregistration

I think you may be a little out with your figures...if we're talking base numbers, thenThe m4 starts at 55k an m234i is 40k. So where exaxtly will the m2 be priced... M235i - £34,260.00 (not £40,000...unless specced up)
M4 - £56,650.00 (or £60,000...specced up)
If they're all similarly specced up, then we have £40k and £60k each with the addition of a few toys.
So for arguments sake, we'll call it £35k & £55K base....I think that puts the M2 smack bang in the middle of them @ £45k base...this seems to be the popular figure being speculated.
By the time it arrives, early 2016, the used M4 will be easily in that range....hence used M4 v new M2.

That would be a close call, except the M2 will be easier to finance and I suspect slightly lower running costs all round. Plus, these days I'd never think of an M4 if a smaller, lighter, similarly quick M car was around.Gassing Station | M Power | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
