After a bit of backwards and forwards, I have now decided to move on an M5 rather than the M6 GC. The M5 will be a bit more practical for my new family and to be honest, I couldn't cost justify the extra money for the M6 GC - even though I prefer the looks inside and out.

I am curious if anyone has any experience negotiating a deal in the past couple of months. The deal offered by Eastern BMW appears to be the best published offer - has anyone done better than that or can recommend any dealers to talk to?

Keen to get my order in before the end of the year.

If I were you, I would be looking to buy a stock car at this time of year, if find one to your liking I think you will be surprised what deal they might offer you to drive away before the 31st?

I'm hearing £10k discounts & 0% finance are the starting point on F10 M5's currently. No idea if these are stock or built to order, but i'd hazard a guess no dealer would be stupid enough to pre-order an F10 M5 without having a customer waiting.

Broadspeed are doing just over 9k off a M5 and just over 19k off an M6 Gran. They will put you in touch with a BMW main dealer who will do these prices and you can sort out a bigger discount with the dealer and special finance rates.

10% off list and 0% finance with 100% LTV is the starting point. For a physical car on the floor, 18% discount and 0% finance. The 0% finance is bmw UK cost. 10% discount is a bmw UK cost through back end margin support. Ie the dealer is still making MSRP full margin at a 10 % discount. Dealer is only eating into their margin if discount exceeds 10%. Depending where any dealer is on their volume bonus count and m car bonus count, if they need 1 delivery to make it over the bright line, you're in luck.
