Hey Guys, I would really really appreciate your help.

I am looking for a factory original Alpine White E46 M3 Coupe, I dont really care if its for sale or not, I would just like to speak to owners to register my interest.

I have been looking for months and have only found cars that have been wrapped or resprayed but I am after a 100% genuine factory Alpine White example.

Thanks very much in advance!

Yes there are a few, I am contacting BMW to find out exactly how many but my guess is less than 15.

Ha yes, I am after one but I am not high/drunk so wont be shelling out £40k wink

Thanks for the replies

My boss once owned a genuine Alpine white one, a manual with 18's and the rare cloth/leather seats.

When I spoke to him a few weeks ago about it, he said he lost track and it has changed hands a couple of times, I would love to own it!

Is it worth contacting 4 star classics? They had that super low mileage one that did the rounds a few years back?

I remember discussions about how rare factory white cars were, hence the number that were wrapped. I may know an example that had a full, professional colour change. (I think it was silver originally?) I can certainly make a call if interested?

That's the one at hexagon posted above. Might be worth looking at the price to have one professionally wrapped. Cheaper than a re spray, protects the original paint from stone chips, and fairly easy to remove when you've had enough of it. I believe there was a CSL wrapped in white at some point?

They come up but very rarely I saw one in 8 months but eventually I opted for a Z4M and usually they are later cars priced similarly to CS's smile

There is one on autotrader - 2004 with 77k for just under 9k, doesn't say it's a wrap but may well be (has black roof/mirrors).

Links in the attached post on M5 board apparently details E46 production breakdowns by exterior colour: http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e90-m3-sedan-e92-...

That convertible was one of 5 sold in the UK in Alpine White.

Only 11 Coupes were sold in AW.

Info from BMW UK HQ.
