From what I've read on another forum, one of the BMW dealers who was selling quite a M3/4 to members has stated there is no support in Q4 on the M3 and 1k on an M4, APR has gone to 5.9 and £800 taken off the GFV.

Looks like the days of 10-12k off are over at the moment.

I'd say PERIOD the exchange rate has tanked and decimated the amount that they could use to fund those contributions whilst not amending the RRP.

Sadly for those used to buy new cars this is a seismic shift in having to find a lot more to get he car they want/they have had the benefit previously but no more.

Does anyone know of European discounts and if they have been reduced or if it's only £ that have been reduced.

Note I was in BMW main dealer this week for a service and the contributions for new cars I thought were very very stingy hmm oh well we have had our cake and eaten it now we need to change

I wonder if used prices will firm up as a result of higher new prices?

With E36 and E46's owning the £7-18k range they are forcing he E92 to be above those values with only galactic miles of stolen smashed up repaired cars below those as such the F30's M3 really is looking like it will simply not go below £30k into perpetuity (if you believe the hype of prices are increaseding in older uses cars)

The post you were replying to said that the discounts seem to be getting smaller and that there could be many reasons for that.

Not sure exactly what it is that you've 'kept stating' that has been ignored because if it's that the discounts are falling then it's a matter of fact, not opinion, and lots of posters have been discussing the same thing in this thread.

That's why I said it's bizarre as you seem not to have noticed everyone else is also talking about the pricing.

I've been saying it on many threads for some time but yes appears we're all saying the same thing new car buyers are going to be paying a lot more than they were used to.

BMW online discounts for PCP for the 340I is in the region of 7K so they are still to be had on certain models, as opposed to an apocalyptic withdrawal across the entire range due to the shrinking pound.

I've recently placed an order for a competition pack M3 in San Marino Blue (end of Sept) and other than the two points mentioned the spec was pretty lean (carbon trim, HK stereo, Carbon spoiler, rear blinds, sun glass, apple play etc). I got just shy of £9k off list - I was pleased with that.

I was tempted to see what deals could be had this Quarter, however looks like i pulled the trigger at the right time.

Roll on January for delivery!

I saw a San Marino Blue 440i in the dealership on Saturday and it was stunning. Lauren even picked it out of the colour chart when were upstairs looking at the M3 before seeing the 440i.

Chatting to you in the CC at DN16 planted a seed...

Will see what deals are about, if any, in the new year.

Coast2coast just deal with BMW dealers that like to give discounts, bit like the TRL (Tony Lewis) chap on Babybmw. Its not voodoo at all.

I'm finally ready to place an order for an M3 just as all the deals seem to have gone, also no dealers local to me seem to have any build slots at the moment.
Can anyone on here put me in touch with a dealer who are able to offer half decent deals on M3s at the moment?

Unfortunately nowhere near as decent as they were a few weeks ago, though. Discount reduced by at least £3k on C2C this quarter. Same change on Broadspeed, too.
