I enquired on these but they do the 3.9% finance that’s available for new cars , demos etc but will only 10.9%. No surprise really.
You can certainly get lower than 10.9% on used cars. I recently bought an used X5 that started at 10.9% but got it down much lower than that in the end, and I am not very good at haggling! AHUX said:

Can usually push for 6.5 - 7.1 on a used car depending on how hard you want to push them...However, just yesterday Sytner flat out told me they as a group cannot go lower than 9.8 apr and this was on an x5M that surely they want to move!!

Christ Sainsbury’s offer £25k personal loan for 3.8% so the numbers flagged above are mind boggling my high
Which is fine if you have the other 25k in cash but a bit of bugger if you don't when looking at a 50k car. A pcp arranged through Oracle or Premier will be 6-7pc. Mine was 6.9pc and the lender is Alphera which is simply a trading name of BMW finance.
They can even run a private sale car through their interlinked dealers
Zopa is another good option if you have a good rating and just want a cheap loan
Some of these bmw approved dealers are hopeless. I can only assume they think all customers are idiots which to be fair some are.
If the car is less than 3 years old ie still warrantied, which can be extended, there is simply no point buying from a main dealer unless the deal or specific car is EXACTLY what you want.

Anything above 25k attracts a much higher rate. I've mentioned this before but Lloyds customers should really look into using their car finance product, I keep looking at RS6's and have an offer of finance on a 1 year old vehicle @5.2% (APR) that's over 4 years with a balloon at the end (not a GFV though)The only reason to take dealer finance is if they are offering a manufacturer backed contribution to do so - then pay it all back within 14 days and switch to something far cheaper.

I’ve used Alphera for my last three cars - paying 5.9 on the current one. They can even run a private sale car through their interlinked dealers

Somehow along the way I acquired a contact in internal sales - same guy every time, and the rates seem slightly better.
Lovely car and great colour combo. I am also now sorted. The choice of cars with a sunroof was dire and I would have compromised so much I have decided on one with a carbon roof and go the Sea sucker route for the bike so I pick this up next week.
It is exactly my chosen spec plus about 5 other things extra which is a right result. only 10k on clock too.
