Yeah its weird how Audi only make an estate/avant version of their 4 door mid/large size RS models yet BMW say there is no market for an M3 Touring. I think an M3 Touring would look the business. I guess there are no plans for a M5 Touring for the current model?
Generally speaking the market has been different for both.

Quattro and an estate body suit each other, the M5 estate didn't sell, if bmw could sell them they would make them.

Anyway, Burwood, getting getting back on topic, how much should I pay for pre-reg 15 plate with delivery miles with options taking it to about £64k? If the price is right, I might well put down a deposit today.

I'm not sure exactly- we have seen evidence of 15% off new customer spec. 10k off pre reg. I think it very much depends on teh dealer and their position that day

Depends how you're paying also Rob. If finance, you'd need a fortune knocking off as you can get 4.9% apr on a new one and BMW's second had APR's are often crap. I am assuming of course that you can't get the same rate of 4.9 on a pre reg.

I was told that you could new car incentives on cars that were upto 60 days after registration - so that should be the APR/Service pack costs etc

A work colleague of mine paid 50k flat for a M3 Saloon of 68k RRP. It is a 2015 car registered in Jan 2015 - ex-management BMW car - 1500 miles on the clock and all options apart from ceramics.

The 10.9% touted around on the BMW used car example thingie is just that an example - my colleague managed to get it to 4.8% for his used car deal.

I Guess it depends on each individual dealers need to push the car on for a sale.

One thing is for sure - these things are not going up in value anytime soon. smile

Ordered mine late Friday afternoon. All the spec on my 'must have' list plus some 'nice to haves'. 8 miles on the odometer, pre-registered 31/3 and kept inside the showroom.

I had been keeping an eye on the level of BMW discount and finance deals (as per the M5 and M6), but felt my deal was good enough and I might be waiting a long time for a better factory deal, plus delivery time.

Will collect this week when I can get away from work.

Spent the entire weekend prepping my Boxster S and girlfriends Audi A4 cab for sale.....

Congrats. Are you prepared to share what sort of deal you got?

Nice one. Interesting re the manual. For the past few months, I had been waiting for the new Mini JCW to be launched which I was definitely going to buy. You could pre-order the auto JCW since February but not the manual which I had been holding out for - in the meantime I got distracted by the M4. I have to say I love a manual gearbox, and drove both. It was a marginal decision for me, but the M DCT gets very positive reviews so decided on that.

I hope to get some time out to pick mine up this week. Best of luck with yours - why are you waiting until the end of the month?

Just visited my local dealer and they have new and unregistered - 3 x M4 cab, 1 x M4 coupe and 2 x M3 saloon plus they have an M3 demonstrator.

Have to say that the full leather treatment looked good in those that had it.

They have lots of other new unregistered stuff which seem to be stickered at OTR prices that were typically 10-20% of RRP and a 640d coupe that from recollection was low 50's against an RRP of low 70's.

There must be some serious deals to be had.

I am surprised M3/M4 is not more heavily discounted.

Every single BMW dealer I have been to has at least 2, and sometimes upto 5. All new and unregistered.
