Ive just been offered a stock car with delivery miles to my spec which pretty much ticks every box for 22% off list...
Came in cheaper than what i have just been quoted on an M2 so not really sure which way to go.
What are ppls thoughts? all my mates seem to be saying go with the M4 however the M2 is yet to be driven and could be a really good car
I'd say go for the M2.Came in cheaper than what i have just been quoted on an M2 so not really sure which way to go.

Then provide me with the contact details for the M3 dealer!

Its technically a pre reg
With Delivery Millage of no more than 20 miles
Dealer has around 29 cars left in the offer.
all different variations of spec.
However i have been offered
Yas Marina Blue
Adaptive Lights
HUD Display
HK Sterio
Carbon Roof
There is more, but i haven't had that confirmed
I was told they had 50 cars on this offer of which they now have 29 left all different specs and colours etc.
Im currently pondering on whether to keep my M2 order or ditch that and move to an M4.
This was just a brief phone call with there corporate sales man. Once i have this all confirmed i will go into more details on what they have.
But struck me as being a pretty decent deal if you can find your desired spec within there available cars.
Thanks for the update. Looks like a decent dealWith Delivery Millage of no more than 20 miles

Im not sure.
The guy i was speaking to has kind of gone silent the past day.
Thinking back to the phone call i have, i have a feeling the offer is only for corporate sales…
But if you run your own company then this offer would be good for you.
I will ask this question when i contact him tomorrow

Any update? Also, if it's business purchase only, then the BIK kills any discount! The guy i was speaking to has kind of gone silent the past day.

I also have a similar dilemma. I am in a m135i daily driver which I could upgrade.. M2 seems natural choice but wouldn't a new DISCOUNTED LCI M3 make more sense ? I wonder.
The only thing is that reviews of the M3/M4 have been less than stellar and have a feeling it might end up being one of the bad ones along the road... I loved my V8 M3 back in the day and this M3/M4 doesn't really appeal to me.. Not sure why.
But if they nail the chassis and steering the M2 could be phenomenal. Or am I missing something

Availabilty of an M2 could be an issue. We will know this time tomorrow. The only thing is that reviews of the M3/M4 have been less than stellar and have a feeling it might end up being one of the bad ones along the road... Listen to what Franchitti has to say about the M4 and particularly throttle response. It flies in the face of your average journo and/or the average bloke off the internet with an "opinion".At 5.00 onwards https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scXXhmknySA

Got my deposit in last week and my dealer seemed to think they had 2 slots and I was second to order. Unless that was just there tactical way of getting a second order lol
You may have been the second person to place a deposit and I'd hope each dealer will get at least two si you should be fine but they could not say for certain last week.nickfrog said:

Try one for yourself rather than going by internet warriors and people who have never driven one. I have and will be in the market for a new (or newish) M3 hopefully in the next few months !!chibbard said:

Coming from a GT3 the throttle response of pretty much ANY car will leave something to be desired though ... That said I take the M3/4 as a radically different car and for a completely different purpose so not trying to compare apple and oranges but the engine of the V8 was just pure bliss, creamy, sharp, metallic and with that top end... it's a shame they had to go turbo and lose some of that magic that M engines were known for..
But we shall see.. as for discounts I found 12pct off new including extras and on top of that 2k extra if you take Finance. If somebody has a real 20pct off then I want to know.. M3 just looks so cool inside and out, I could live with the throttle response...

It would be nice if this thread received hard facts rather than fiction on these unicorn deals. At present 12percent is the best deal on a new order to spec. 15 on pre reg. if you have dine better post the facts. If your mates dog heard a dealer mention something then zip it lol
To be exact I got 14.3% off a factory order.Ordered 2 weeks ago, build week 48, expected mid-December.
