I will add all figures after the 27th
I've been given a 4 day test in the m4
And my m2 order has been placed so that I can take it if I dislike the m4
Or the dealer will sell it as a dealer can when it arrives.
Must say this is some of the best service I've had from any dealer ever...

So far o la dealer I have asked offered 12pct on new order and then 2k on top of you take finance. So on a very good spec M3 with DCT and few goodies but no CCB it equates to 15pct.

If some have access to better on pre-reg cars I am interested. At 20pct I would be tempted away from the M2. Especially as I heard a few clips of the new M pert exhaust of the m3 and the main issue of the car could have been addressed :-)

Best i'm being offered on new build M4 is 8% discount so I don't know where these 12% and 15% offers are coming from. It's not even like my dealer can't be arsed. He's been in regular contact for the past 3 weeks and 8% is the best he can find. His latest suggestion is to grab a last minute slot to take advantage of 'end of year' number pushing as there may be lumps of money left over from the last years trading. I'll keep my ears peeled.

I was offered 12% plus £2k on a stock car which was the most I could squeeze them to but have a deposit on an m2 instead now which is what I went in for in the first place

You shouldn't have a dealer - try several. Sounds like he isn't passing the BMW contribution nor looking at BMW FS contributions.

PM if you are really interested and want the 12% +2k on new ordered car. It's definitely possible. I have the offer in writing.

this is the best so far 15% on a new order.

Someone spoke of 18% 2 months back but allow me to say horse st. Giving the dealer a reach around for an extra discount doesnt count i'm afraid. Arms length deals only. Oh and no business only deals as they are bullst too.

The 18% discount was me and it's good to know that you have no idea what you're talking about. Oh, and what you do with your dealer in private I'd rather not know, thanks.

I actually picked my car up on Tuesday this week, I spec'd it as a factory order to just over £67K and paid £55K on a private PCP deal, no business deal for me.

Never let the facts get in the way of an unfounded opinion!

Wow what a beauty!! That colour in the sun must be insane!

Can you PM me the details of the dealer where you got the deal? Was it on stock or pre-reg or your build?

Thanks, it's just a shame that we've had nothing but rain since I picked the car up - it's slightly less shiny now!

That deal was on a factory order as I wanted a very specific build with the Individual colour, which I was unlikely to get on a stock car. Took about 9 weeks from start to finish. PM sent.

It would be nice if this thread received hard facts rather than fiction on these unicorn deals. At present 12percent is the best deal on a new order to spec. 15 on pre reg. if you have dine better post the facts. If your mates dog heard a dealer mention something then zip it lol
I ordered my M4 on the 12th of October with delivery expected around 1st/2nd week December. I managed to negotiate 14.1% discount which includes a dealer contribution of £2K.
I've gone for Mineral Grey with Sakhir Orange Leather plus an additional £6K of extra's (DCT /Adaptive LED /M Head-up display /Reversing Camera). Contemplating on whether I should opt for the additional M-Performance Carbon Pack and steering wheel. Anyone spec'd their M3/M4 with the carbon pack?

18% off list is so tempting with the 4.9% finance on PCP - I've currently got a deposit down on the M2 but with the finance rates being stupid im tempted to change ...

Roughly what do you think an M3/4 with DCT in a sensible colour would be worth after 3 years - lets say 25k mileage, BMW GFV seems to be around 27K but im thinking 32kish would be more accurate?

Thanks

I think it depends what you normally do at the end.
You would probably get £32K private but if you are part-exing with the dealer I'd say more like £29K

E92 M3 prices are a good guide. 2012 (3 year old) cars with average miles are retailing for high twenties to early thirties, with trade price of low to mid twenties.
