The 18% discount was me and it's good to know that you have no idea what you're talking about. Oh, and what you do with your dealer in private I'd rather not know, thanks.

I actually picked my car up on Tuesday this week, I spec'd it as a factory order to just over £67K and paid £55K on a private PCP deal, no business deal for me.

Never let the facts get in the way of an unfounded opinion!

That colour looks lovely and is what I would choose from current options, and full silverstone interior (would be interested in some interior pics) but silver wheels for me.

Did you fit the Black Kidney Grilles to your YMB car on a factory option?

Thanks Gareth that's most useful. Is that 16% off the invoice total or 16% off then the BMW contribution as well? I am assuming it's just 16% discount in total.

I had the dealer fit it as they threw it in as part of the deal.

Nice car, Gareth - looks like a familiar colour combination! :-). Is it an M3 or M4? I can't quite make it out in your photo.

That looks special.

16% isnt bad at all. If I could find 20% off an m4 I'd be up for one of those vs the M2 that i have a deposit on and that I've got no idea when it will turn up.

I wont share my deal as I think I will upset my dealer but I have had mine for 5 dsys now and love it!!!!

Coming from a B8 RS4 and 997 C2 this think is so so so bloody quick. In sport it sounds great, no V8 granted but it is more fun to drive than both of these, the tech is next gen and I get 100 x more stares and thumbs up than I got in the RS4....

A perfect middle car between the RS4 and 911.

Stunning colour !!

Not sure why people are worried about upsetting their local car salesman - they are selling you a car and you are negotiating a discount so why would that need to be private. The dealer isn't doing you a favour (I know some make it out that way) ...

Hope you got a good deal anyway :-)

So how many 'stares and thumbs up' were you getting?

So, is anyone willing to share where these 18/20% deals are coming from? Mine is stuck at 15% but holding out far a last minute high discount approval at the end of the month. Dealer seems keen to push the envelope at the last second.

So dividing the deposit over he 48months and adding it to the £474pcm it's £807pcm for those comparing PCP to contract hire deals.
