Discounts on new M3/M4?

To add to the above I assume the 18-20% discounts include the ~£4k that BMW put in as part of the PCP finance option?
So technically in my example above they are putting in £4k for finance and then £3k off the car price so £7k in total.
So this is considered 11% discount to be comparable to the examples earlier on the thread?
Also to add: stop negotiating the old fashioned way. Decide the price you want, go into the dealership with the figures and tell them if they meet them they will sell a car today. So technically in my example above they are putting in £4k for finance and then £3k off the car price so £7k in total.

If you don't get a good deal now you will really know about it come resale time.

15% discount in total is how I understand the discount. So if you are taking the finance and the car is 63k the invoice total should be £53,550. I would push for a little more off though.
Deal I posted above was 17.1% off on a cash deal for a competition pack car. Should certainly be able to match it give you're taking their finance. Let me know if you want me to point you in direction of sales guy who is actually a genuinely lovely chap which makes a nice change.Edited by mikearwas on Wednesday 27th April 19:32

Try cooper Cobham or Croydon,
Stefan Toff at Cobham.
Stephen Willis at Croydon.
Both should be able to match price I got. I however got the last delivery slot in what I would class as a reasonable timescale. You might be waiting until the end of September now.
Cooper Cobham have a lovely (and very rare colour) San Marino blue M4 in stock at the moment, cancelled order, I think it was up for c.58k with the obvious room for manoeuvre, spec was very good too, could be worth a look?Stefan Toff at Cobham.

This is the colour, it doesn't appear on any price lists or even on individual for the M4 in the UK, BMW were asked very nicely it seems.

That looks more like Monte Carlo Blue with the lighting/editing done on that photo. This is the colour, it doesn't appear on any price lists or even on individual for the M4 in the UK, BMW were asked very nicely it seems.
There are several SMB M3/M4 dotted about and is readily available to order from the individual range especially as the colour is a standard colour on the M6.

You don't have ask very nicely it's about £1500 for SMB on a M3/4, my local dealer has had a SMB M4 as well. This is the colour, it doesn't appear on any price lists or even on individual for the M4 in the UK, BMW were asked very nicely it seems.

Quite a few fire orange M4s shown on F80 post.
Not available anymore (at least at the moment), supposedly discontinued late 2014 (I think) as there was some issue with the colour in the plant the M4 is built in. ETA- There is a chap from BMW UK (he is genuine) posting over on cutters about it, they are hoping to be able to bring it back next year for the M4.

Are there not several levels of 'Individual'? In order of increasing cost :
- Paint available on other models built at the same plant.
- Paint from the specific model Individual list which the plant is set up to use.
- Any paint you like, I believe painting is done at a different plant so this option is very expensive and not really advertised.

Fire Orange isn't availbale on the M4 but is on M3 (built in different plants) will cost about £2700.
SMB is cheaper at about £1700 as it is an 'in production' colour albeit on a different model.
oooohh... I like SMB too, just need to see some M4 Competition pack pics with SMB now!! I'm not likely to order for 6 months, but you gotta do the research SMB is cheaper at about £1700 as it is an 'in production' colour albeit on a different model.
M4 CP, SMB, SS interior, LED's, MPE... it's all coming together!!
