Lofty, thanks for that info. Good to know. My target is 15% and am talking to another 2 dealers this week.

Which dealer did you get this from?

I've just ordered a M3 CP. I got 15% off after a lot of negotiating. It's a July build so MY17 for September delivery. Happy to pass on the dealers details if anyone wants to contact me.
Hi, I've finally decided to take the plunge buy an M4 moving over from an Audi A5. I've read this entire thread and picked up some great info although I have a question. What dealer supplied the 15% and was it excluding the finance contribution? I would be greatfull to know as I'm looking to order ASAP smile. Thanks in advance.

Deal I posted above was 17.1% off on a cash deal for a competition pack car. Should certainly be able to match it give you're taking their finance. Let me know if you want me to point you in direction of sales guy who is actually a genuinely lovely chap which makes a nice change.

Hi Mikearwas,

Could I have the details for this sales guy?

I'm looking at a 16 plate dealer registered M4 at the moment.

Looks like a great deal, and I'm getting the price I want for my part ex which is an 11 plate 520d MSport. I sold my Aston Martin Vantage back in February as the wife and I had our second baby and she convinced me I needed a bigger car (as well the Touareg she has!!). I got an excellent deal on the 5 series so bought it as in interim car, even though it was a car I didn't really gel with and find flat as a fart.

Anyway been offered what I paid for the 5 series and a really good discount on the M4. People are probably asking why I've not bought it yet if I've got the deal I want, to answer I'm not really sure why as I enjoyed the test drive etc..I just can't seem to commit. Going to speak to the dealer tomorrow with my decision either way.

I just cancelled my order of an M4 DCT.

Was originally told 8-14 weeks from order date of end of April, then told it was delayed until second week of September. Really wasn't happy with that, very basic spec car, no CP, no individual anything and very little options.

I think the deal was ok, I found it very hard to tell on PCP deals as I have a car on PCP already and was changing for the M4.

Still never mind, it is only a car and maybe I will look again next year.

what about cars already built and in the uk, you'd probably get a better deal on one of them anyway

That was one of the reasons to cancel, seemed silly to wait that long for a new but basic spec car. I wasn't convinced the deal was that good, I think I only managed 13% off.

That said as I have a car on PCP with negative equity I am not really sure what my budget is, I mean I know roughly what monthly figure I am looking at.

There are a few cars on the approved website that are a better spec so I suppose I should just ring around

I'm not sure if the dealer wants his details on this thread, he's ok if I pass it on to anyone who contacts me though. I've tried to PM you but as your a newbie it won't work. My discount worked out at roughly 10% off the car (£6500 ish) plus the BMW contribution of around £3800

Pick my M4 up later in the week. Pictures will be up shortly.

Don't bother contacting TRL if you are after a M3 or M4, all his allocation is sold, no more deals on M3/M4.....I was in contact with him only last week.

Does anyone know of any good "real" deals on M4 Convertibles with Comp Pack?

My dealer who I've bought several cars from says they're in short supply, and they only have 2 left this year and that whilst they could do a deal for me, they'd be a way off the £9-10k that coast2coast and others seem to suggest.
