Can you PM me what you paid please.

Discount on the M3 they have at present doesn't seem to great to me

My M3 CP supplied by Matt (MPJ) I got a great deal, great communication and a great car, can't really ask for more. As a bonus It's probably the most swirl free car I have ever had, I had planned on getting it detailed but it doesn't need it, it's immaculate.

You can't receive PM's .The details of the discount I got are a few posts back. (Around 16%/£10k) Lack of supply, lower support from BMW and a higher interest rate makes it unlikely that the same figures could be achieved now I'm afraid. No harm in trying though, took me a while to get where I wanted to be.

Looks amazing.

I'll definitely be in touch with Matt at the end of the year - I want an M3 CP too... Silverstone with Opal white and a few toys but prepared to take anything really. My current problem is getting the negative equity in my car down!

I have been thinking about waiting for the LCI M4 next year though...mmmmm

I was in Sytner today and they've got a lovely SS M3 CP in the showroom - couldn't see as much blue in it as in some pics, really liked it though. They've got a Yas M4 and a Tanzanite M4 CP too.

They've just registered a Signal Green M4 with some carbon bits as they couldn't sell it.

I've got an i8 until Monday and it's great fun!!!

Was looking at the M4 yesterday for when the M3 goes - seems a lot less room in the back unfortunately.

That green M4 looked bloody awful though... not surprised they couldn't sell it wink

I see alot of dealers mentioning they have cars in the showroom and the signal green being registered by sytner because they couldn't sell it.

Are M3/4's difficult to shift ? And if so why arent they being heavily discounted then ?

Maybe but this is a car that you'll want to register before April and the new road tax changes. Whereas the Mustang V8 is definitely one for after April.

They've since added a carbon rear spoiler, carbon front splitter and carbon mirrors... looks pretty cool and getting lots of attention. It's well specced but I think the reason it's not selling is the Competition Pack cars that are in the showroom.

Nice.

What was the final discount you managed?

I'm still messing around, unable to decide whether to order an M4 CP.

I wouldn't wait too long, if dealers are quoting March delivery you may end up getting hit by the new road tax if delivery slips to April. You may also find that if lead times are increasing discounts may start to drop.

It's still 10-12 weeks for delivery according to my dealer.

Why is there such a wide range of availability dates being quoted by dealers? Is the information from BMW that vague or are some padding dates? Or are dealers reserving manufacturing slots to secure dates before they have found a buyer (I have no idea if that is even possible). I find it really hard to believe that BMW don't know what capacity they have over the next 6 months vs. projected demand.
