Some help with hiring a rather special car please

I have lusted after am e30m3 for many years, but never actually managed to drive one. Yes I know I could go for a test drive at Munich Legends, but I don't want to invest that sort of money on the basis of a 30 minute drive.

Which got me thinking, does anybody hire one say for the weekend?

I have done the usual Google search and it's not thrown up any companies. Just wondering if anyone would be prepared to hire out...hey if you dont ask you don't get!

Any ideas folks?

I very much doubt it. They're appreciating classics and in my eyes, it would be the sam scenario as trying to hire out a 964 Turbo S.

It's unlikely I think. The E30 M3 is one of those cars that needs to be driven hard, to really experience what they're all about. Were you to break it the resultant repair bill could be thousands. Especially if you blew the engine! Your average rebuild would be around £7k I believe. Stick it into a ditch and write it off and it'll be £25k+ to find a replacement, assuming you can find one that's for sale? I would imagine hire companies would be put off for the same reasons.

I suppose you could always put it out there and see if there's an owner who's feeling generous? Most are pretty attached though, so seems unlikely. A test drive really is your best bet.

Whilst I agree it might be hard to arrange, I'm quite sure it wouldn't be the same as a 964 Turbo S as some of them are up for 500k not 30-50k

When I was at the ring last year with mine,I got chatting with one of the instructors and he said that the one on RSR website is the owners wife's car. It was bought for the hire fleet, but I don't think she lets it go out much.
Good luck though!

I've rented a Megane R26.r from them twice. They're good guys.

Don't have anyone drive into you though, takes a lonnnnnng time to get your deposit back whistle
