Queue all the M4 haters ...

Delivery first week of March.

I've been looking around since September but finally decided to go for it. Glad I waited as the finance figures are much more favourable than they were back then.

I've gone for the Yas Marina Blue, it looks amazing in the flesh but a big departure from my usual white choice.

Can't wait now!

Congratulations mate. That's quite a short build time I am thinking of ordering one for April delivery. Can you pm me the deal you got. All dealers I've contacted are offering 6.4 apr which isnt brilliant.

The dealer already had a build slot for end of February but that was on a black model, the change of colour has knocked it back a week.

I will definitely take out the service pack. The car needs a running in service after 1200 miles which is over £300 alone.

I don't have the finer details of the deal believe it or not. I had a budget when it came to the deposit & monthly figure, plus I had some negative equity in mine. When I was looking back in September it was doable but was tight. Now I'm paying £2K less on the deposit & about £50 cheaper a month. I did shop around & the sticking point was always my S5, some dealers were getting stupid bids but my local dealer come up best which was lucky as I almost found myself having to trek 4 hours to Ipswich smile

Love the yas marine blue, many congrats, one in my local dealers at the moment, looks awesome.

I hope they keep the colour exclusive however for the M3/M4. When I aquired my Monte Carlo blue M5 in 2012 it seemed like a really special "different" blue colour to anything else they offered in other cars at the time, only M5 and very rare X5/X6M I seem to recall. May be just me but the estoril blue available on 1, 3 & 4 series is very similar and now much more common, seems to be on almost as many bmws now as black, white or silver.

No colour is truely exclusive, as you can get pretty much any colour you want if you order it with BMW Individual paint.

I'll b s have honest and say I probably lost sleep over what colour to choose. My last 2 car been white and the 2 previous to that black. But when I seen the YMB in the showroom it really impressed me. That plus its kind of exclusive to the M range ish!

My missus still can't believe I've gone for that colour and the guys in work think its for a smurf, but that's just jealousy!

Congrats. We need pics when it arrives. I parked next to a grey one at my sons school last night and they do look good in the flesh. I was about to have a chat to the bloke standing beside it to find out how he's getting on with it. Then he opened the door of an old Polo in the next space along biggrin

Reminds me of a sketch I seen last week of a guy leaning on a Bugatti Veyron and stops loads of girls as they walk passed and asks if they wanna have lunch with him and everyone of them agreed and then he goes to the shed of a car parked behind the Veyron, everyone of them bar one girl made their excuses and walked away .. ha ha!

Just found it online

I picked my M3 up at the weekend - grey with black wheels. I really like its stealth. I don't think it is as good looking as my E92 but everything about the way it drives is light years ahead for me. I even think the noise is on par, it is certainly louder and has a great burble!!! The only issue I have is keeping it in a straight line in the colder weather we are having this week.

Al in all a very happy camper.

I went for Black. I'm not a lover of the grey to be honest.

I'm all too aware that I'll need to adjust my driving style when I get it. I currently have an Audi S5 & have grown used to the fact I can give it the big right foot early coming out of corners as the grip with Quattro is great. When I had the M4 on test drive, the first corner I came out of I got on the power like I would in the S5 and the backend started to go before snapping back -in. I was a bit more weary after that but loved it all the same.
