Well done on the sale, you got a pretty decent price.
Shame it's going into storage, you could always offer to drive it for your neighbour once in a while to keep things working wink
Ironically he has asked me to look after it while he is away as his dad is quite old and not too good with cars.

Sadly I think mine will have to go up for sale soon. Don't really want to but just makes financial sense at the moment with a house move and no parking on the cards in the next few months!!

Stay firm in your pricing. Don't give it away. These things will increase in value over the next few years and you don't want to see your old car going for £15,000!

True, Trouble with mine is the Cat C marker. Its genuinely got 1 scratch on the entire car. Had it serviced last week and asked the guy to go over it with a fine tooth comb. Even he said, the only way he could tell it'd been in a whack was that the drivers side rear corner had been painted.

Try Finding another E36 M3 with 64,000 on it.....

If you converted that to manual it wouldnt be 'standard' and would de-value it in my opinion.
Which is kinda my point. Mine is totally standard and in great condition.

Yours has to be worth a cheeky ad at £10,000? Probably worth closer to 7-8?

Im hoping to do euro trip up over the alps and down into Lake Garda in July, will be up for sale after that!

I'd hope its worth £6000. Did a search yesterday on here, E36 M3 under 100,000m 4 nationally.

New induction, Hartge exhaust, strut brace, interior changes mean its already far from standard. Some value originality more than others; the spats on the arches are foul but I'd be surprised if the other mods don't make the car drive better than standard. My old EVO coupe was totally standard and still under warranty when I bought it but it was far far better to drive after being modified. Still miss that car.

Lose the SMG and arch trims and I'd be interested.

About 44K miles on mine and also not for sale, although I have considered it a few times. Recently started thinking about selling it and my Vette to buy a Z06 but I really like my M3 and I would have to be absolutely sure I was ready to part with it. And in all honesty I would have to get a good price for it, which would probably mean it would hang around for a while, but there is no way would I be willing to sell such a minter for a bargain price. Anyway, I hate selling cars and dealing with the idiots that we have all encountered.

A young lad came to see my car last week and texts me today "If you still have your M3, I'll offer £5500 for it. That's higher than I offered last week and I think it's a good price"

I told him what I sold it for and wished him good luck.

You snooze you lose.

I'm trying to find another one again.

Yes no doubt. I meant I'm trying to find another cheap one. I paid £3600 for mine. It owed me £4200 and I sold it for £6350.

Having no luck though unfortunately.

A soft top is on Fleabay for around £3750 Scherm. I think it needs some talc but I reckon you may be able to get it for less.
