nothing from cutters. Been up less than 24hrs though

Have written an ad for here but having problems posting it!!

Asking £6000.... don't think that's crazy considering there's an 80,000m car in Ireland for £7200.

Mines all original, got new vanos, no rust, recent INSP II and fresh out of an oil service.

The cat C/D thing may be an issue for anyone who is looking at it as an 'investment' but as a drive I bet its bang on.

I sold mine to my neighbour for £6350 and mine was not as nice as yours either. If you are a long time Pistonheads member you can list for free.

I hate to say it but a cat c convertible regardless of mileage is not worth near £6k. It's had something bad to be a cat c which is worse than cat d.

How about this beauty

We'll see I guess smile I'm in no rush. If it sells it sells. I'm happy to take an offer. If it doesn't, screw it I'll keep it.

That one looks nice, really nice. Sometimes estoril doesn't look great, in those pics it looks fab!!
is the steering wheel correct?

I honk it is correct, it's an early evo wheel. I stand to be corrected.

Mine's an early Evo (1996) and it has the bigger airbag wheel. I thought the smaller wheel was from the normal non-M E36's.

I did have that wheel on my 328. I knew it was fitted to the 3L's just not EVO's.

I've seen a few of those wheels on earlier cars so prob is original, the seats however appear to be Vaders and I'm not keen on the lip spoiler.

Credit to you for fronting up at the beginning of the ad, the number of long ads you read only to find its cat D in the last paragraph!

The cat C status and (for me) colour combo will limit the market but you've got a decent ad and the right approach - GLWTS. I wonder if the pictures do the colour justice?

You're right, the colour doesn't photo well. Its a lovely deep green that when the sun shines on it has like a petrol-ey/pearly tint to it. I didn't set out for a green car but it looked so good in the flesh I took a leap of faith!

Can't be that far off on price.... Just had an offer of £5750. Kinda thrown me... I expected it to take ages to sell, have a euro trip planned in July that I had hoped to use the M3 for and then sell when I got back.

Yeah true. But, it's not often you find a 48k mile estoril blue cab, manual box with grey leather cloud9

Well done on the offer s3 Graham

I'd take that offer if I were you... Considering Cat C cars typically go for a 30% discount and it's a marmite colour.

Convertibles will be harder to shift after July too.

This was the link, offers over £8k but it's sold now. Someone was quick.

Plus there would be vat and import duty so prob more like £10500.

What mileage is yours Craig?
