Sure i saw the ad, now can't find the ad, give us a clue
There hasn't been an ad! I'm rapidly talking myself into keeping it. There is or was a near identical one with very low miles on with Hexagon Moderns for about £17k though hehe

Have fired you a PM dude. Just wondering, what makes your car an Evolution II? over a straight evo?
Haven't got a clue to be honest! I'm sure it is on a document somewhere. Might just be a slight revision, it's a Sept 99 car which is one of the last ones.
One of these ? from http://www.bmwmregistry.com/index.php
"What distinguishes the UK-market E36 M3 Special Edition convertibles?
A limited run of 25 E36 M3 convertibles in Carbon Black metallic with a Modena Natur Nappa leather interior were produced for the UK market in July of 1999. In addition to this special paint color, all 25 examples were identically equipped with a large selection of features such as power and heated front seats, Park Distance Control, Harman/Kardon audio system and extended Burl Walnut wood interior trim."

That would make your car more exclusive than a gt or imola individual! Be nice if it is one smile

Does anybody have a Boston green one? Previous owner must have thought mine was, it's Fern, so I have a touch up kit...

I've been through mine today with a fine tooth comb and made a long list of things that need doing and what I think will need doing.

If I get it up to spec I may just keep it otherwise I may just try and re-sell it ASAP.

In my heart of hearts though, I know these cars are getting rarer and with my OCD levels when it comes to 'restoration' I reckon I get this up to an 'absolute minter' level very quickly.

SMG, good/ bad in an E36 ? with the E46 it is said to be the preferred option over manual, is it very different/improved over the E36 ?
A cars come up at the other end of the country, but its SMG, I've not even been in one with it let alone driven one so after peoples opinions/experience of it.

SMG on the E36 was never very popular nor reliable and you had to use the handbrake alot on any small descent...

I had mine out yesterday (Manual) for the first time this year for a quick blast...

Both the above cars look very nice but wrong colour for me(read Mrs) & both been for sale for several weeks now which would suggest black is not a popular colour/not as good as they look or over priced. Why have an E36 when for the same money you could have a better car in an E46 ?
