Evening all,

I live close to Bromley and have used a couple of garages in Dartford for previous BMW (non ///M) servicing and maintenance but I'd really like to take the M5 (E61) to an outfit with more experience working on these cars.

Can anyone recommend a few garages please?

I don't mind travelling and would take the car to CPC or Evolve but a lot of the time, it takes an absolute age to even get a return phone call.

Any suggestions are welcome.

I've used Munich Legends in East Sussex a couple of times for some non-warranty work (a clutch change and some bits of trim) and have been very pleased with their work and reasonable prices. They're a friendly bunch and the head tech there, Stuart I think, seems very knowledgeable about M cars. I'd happily recommend them.

Thanks but I've unfortunately had a bad experience with BMSport and D&T wise I don't believe have much experience with M5's etc.

I'm also interested to know... I have a weird electrical issue which a dealer couldn't figure out and whilst my local indy are very good with cars mechanically, I'd really want someone with experience of these cars to take a look.

OK so it's all booked in but they can't see me for a couple of weeks unfortunately.

It's being booked in to replace the PLCD sensor on the SMG and as the fault seems to be popping up more frequently, can anyone else recommend another garage please?

I keep trying CPC but no-one ever bl00dy answers the phone or responds to emails which is hugely frustrating.

Evolve also don't want to respond to emails.

Probably a bit late now, but you've got Martyn Scott @ Scotts Performance in Dartford. I've been using him since I stopped using BMSport. Knows M cars inside-out.

Yes but it's always worth knowing about local trusted garages that know M cars.

I've had far too much done at Crago's in dartford over the last few months, good guys and know their stuff

Like some used BM Sport prior and wasn't too impressed
