Jonah - out of curiosity, what's the story on the dakar yellow one? It sounds like you've enquired/know something. Pls PM me, if you'd pref not write on forum. Thanks

Nothing major that im aware of,I I spoke to a chap from the dealer but it just didn't sound as mint as I would have thought. Steering wheel looks like a non evo, non standard stereo, he said it needed or had paint on the rear spoiler etc.

I think the issue with these cars if if they don't sell you tend to question why they haven't but I don't know any reason why it hasn't.

It's dropped to £12k now, surprised it hasn't been snapped up and re advertised for £18k

I own a GTII and get asked a fair but to sell it through private message on forums etc. The guy selling the Green GT on pistonheads has a nice little collection of these cars.

As for the prices, they are on the up, we will have to wait and see if they level off or keep climbing.

Until then, I am going to enjoy mine like all other owners should

Nice, don't see the saloons that often! Get the crap spoiler off the back and enjoy a nice Q car! Is it wrong to presume the big end bearings would have been done with the rod bolts?

They are normally done together but I wouldn't assume anything! Guy on cutters just got done over by a garage doing bolts and shells so crazy stuff still goes on! Less and less people around that are experienced on these!

There are some poorly educated people about unfortunately, however the guy my mate uses built and ran E36s in britcar a few years back so knows them well - probably the kind of guy that could be useful for bigger jobs

I am looking for a decent Estorill Blue Evo coupe but cannot find anything worth even looking at frown
Personally I think you're doing the wrong thing hanging out for a specific colour. The techno one and green one on ph look lovely. Could you not love one of those?

Would have thought they will both go quickly.
I have owned several Estorill Blue ones before in both coupe and convertible versions and for me its the only colour I really like but this is actually for my son who can now afford to insure one. His budget is £6 firm and it has to be Estorill but he gave up looking at dogs and has finally got a Honda Integra Type R.
I am sure he will get one in time but since he works at BMW, he gets is fill of M cars already.

Getting harder to find mint examples at decent prices. I picked up an estoril blue coupe at the weekend and whilst the interior needs sorting along with 3 rust spots on the bootlid it's a very good drive.

Managed to find one with new shocks, new pilots , wheel refurb, diff rebuild, full service and vanos health check just a pity about the interior but then the grey leather always looked crap.

What do we think of this?

Tempted to take a punt... It's a little far from sunny Essex.

It seems to look pretty good, however I'd hope the interior can clean up well as the cloth is actually quite rare and sought after because of this.

That advert hurts my eyes. Really like the interior and Aegean is a lovely colour.

Aegean exterior is fantastic, but that interior is vomit IMO.

Not sure what's with the huge block of text in the advert, you'd think that someone selling a car they've claimed to have looked after so well would have written a better advert... But at the end of the day all that matters is the car itself and it looks like a good buy.

p.s. it won't end up at £4800 if that's what you're hoping.

The M3 I owned had that interior and once clean, it comes up really really well. Wears much better than the leather.

I have recently advertised a car on ebay and spaced it all out nice. Once submitted and viewing from a phone it puts it in one block. I have noticed its now changed it to the same on a PC. So give him the benefit that he did it right and ebay changed it

That does look a genuine car.

Will be interesting to see what it goes for.
