My m3 needs new front calipers and discs all round...does anyone have any advice on best place to buy? Don't want to spend £1000's. Any help appreciated

I just got front discs for my M5 from Germany, saved approximately £130 over anywhere else. Make sure you have google translate running-

Front ATE discs- https://profiteile.de/bmw-ersatzteile/bremsanlage/...

Not sure why there are two different diameters given (325mm and 345mm), did they change after a certain year? Going by realoem all I can see is them listed as 325mm. Assuming these are the ones you need you're looking at about £215 for both plus shipping and probably a foreign currency transaction fee from your bank. I'd be surprised if you found anything OEM and cheaper.

I got my rear discs from the BMW Ocean Breeze shop on ebay. There were alternatives but they were a lot cheaper and couldn't find anything on whether they would be decent quality. Pads and sensors all from carparts4less, be sure to apply the discount codes.

I recently replaced all mine and got the discs from Ocean Breeze and pads from various places on ebay.

Best prices for ATE OEM disks appears to be Mister Auto, which I think is based on Europe, but I needed my parts urgently and so went for places that offered next day delivery.

Plenty of info on this on M3 cutters if you are happy to do some searching.

Mister Auto are currently only listing the passenger side disc. Even with the 15% discount on Mister Auto, Profiteile still works out cheaper, delivery is 20 euros and it's reasonably quick given it's from Germany.

The larger diameter discs are for the CSL which uses the same calipers but different carriers.

I've had the STOPTECH discs on various cars including a 1M and found them to be excellent. We sell lots of car sets for the M3 E46 with good feedback.
