Has anyone had an invite to the X5M launch in Las Vegas or done any of the previous ones?

Yes. All expenses paid. 2 days in Vegas including driving experience. My wife wanted to come along but BMW wanted £6k for her ticket. Definitely the best freebie I've ever had and this is my first M-car (F10 M5).

They seem to sell the experience to US customers but offer it free to certain UK customers. Not sure why I was offered it.

It would be nice to hear from anyone else going!

Hi, I've been invited to this today. Is your email from delegate.com? It feels like a bit of a hoax, but I can't prove or disprove it

I've only ever leased one car from them... But you will be having the last laugh if it is a scam...

The lady I spoke to said she had had problems convincing people the offer was serious. Due to the amount of spam/scam emails and calls we get it probably makes giving things like this away difficult!

Very nice. Not been offered fk all though & i guess if you include the rejection, this is my 3rd M5 over the years.

Bets freebie i've managed was an Audi Driving Experience at Silverstone many years ago, never had anything off BMW.

The irony of this is that I 'only' drive an M135i, which I guess ends the "is it really an M car" debate!

An amazing three days with a great bunch of people. Very professionally run by BMW.

Still a bit hungover/jet-lagged but already thinking about how to get an invite again next year....

What do you have to do for an invite? Regularly buy new M cars?

A superb few days thanks to BMW M Power. Extremely well run typical German planning and efficiency.
A great group of people from the UK made the event even better. Highlight has to have been the time on track with the entire M fleet on a circuit with a 20 degree banked circuit! Oh yes.

Regarding the X5/6 M it's not a track car but it does make the best exhaust noise and is pretty darn quick.

Will post some photos when I get chance to sort them out.
