Can I send itineraries to my bmw?

I'm taking the M5 up to the Scottish Highlands for a week and have spent a lot of time mapping out some great itineraries on tyretotravel. I can send them to my tomtom and use that but is it possible to send the tomtom files to the m5's satnav? My car has bmw apps interface, internet and i have a login and password for bmw connected drive.

I'd rather not have a tomtom plugged in if i can send the files to the car's satnav.

You have to Plan maps /routes on "BMW Connected drive" then send them.

Plane the on Google maps and send them straight to the car. Easy as a few clicks of the mouse.

Not quite;

First you will need to log in to your connected drive account, under settings make sure the yes option for 'Enable Send to Car via selected partners?' is selected

You will also need a Google account (Gmail, youtube etc) and you register your connected drive username and vehicle make with your google account.

Then it is as simple as a few clicks.

The function is known as Google Send to Car.

I misplaced my connected drive login info so don't think I can send to car until it's reset.
I discovered that the bmw prof navigation has itinerary capability and you can save journeys directly on there. Great function. I have all 6 days of our road trip saved as 6 different journeys.

Only ONE destination at a time though, NOT a route.

You can do routes and save them in your journies and upload them. Just put in the route going via wherever you want. I did it regularly in my connected drive Z4.
