Rang for this car....what a w**kers

http://www.sportsandprestigeslough.co.uk/used-car-...

Asked if the car had been serviced, and got an answer as yes by dealers...but needs an oil service (can live with that)

Asked about condition of pads and disk....dealer replied I dont know if they have ever been changed or not and would not tell me if they were in good condition and then mentioned it is for sale as it is!!

I then asked I did not want to travel 500 mile round trip if I did not know the if the major consumables had been done.

Dealer answer:- It is covered by AA warranty!!! well we all know pads and disks are not covered under warranty...and ended call...LOL

Pretty impressed with the mileage given its age. Do we reckon about £200 per week in fuel alone?

Surely, again given the cars age, it's still covered by the original BMW warranty?

Did you inform the garage how easy it was to check on the items you were requesting? Would take them all of about 90 secs.

My advice would be to avoid Sports & Prestige, had a bad experience with them a few years back

Covered or not consumables are excluded. £2k discs and pads but isn't great.

Sounds like he didn't want to sell

Avoid that bunch, they no nothing about the M5 as all the info could be bought up in the car it's self.
Look for another car in a bmw Dealership. This way you get a warrantee thats worth something.

Back in the day independent specialists knew their stuff... these days it just seems all you need is a some stocking finance, a driveway or a small industrial unit, a silver BCA account, a bucket, a sponge and a bullst 3rd party warranty and hey presto, you're a performance motor trader.

Infuriates me.
