I have some corrosion occurring on the rear arches of my 53 plate e46 m3. Is this now beyond the remit of a dealer or may it still be worth looking into?
The anti corrosion warranty is 12 years so it'll be tight. Get it to a dealer and ask.Just make sure your service book is fully stamped - that's what they were most concerned with.
I think 12 years was for 2004 onwards so depends when it was registered.
Got mine back last week, had the rear arch done and front wing replaced. The whole side was painted but it's not a brilliant job, I'm not too bothered as it was free and better than it was obviously but I can't help thinking they've rushed it as it was a warranty job.

Got it back today.
The new wing is spot on paint wise, they blew over the bonnet and drivers side door at the same time. Gave it a good clean and job done.
Booked it in for the airbag recall while I was there so it's going back later this month.
Top work from spire.
A big thank you to those on here who pointed me down the warranty route - I didn't know anything about it up till then, I'd have ended up paying 000's to get it fixed.
Cheers.
