So much bullst about availability on these cars. We keep being told there are only 1 or 2 per dealer per year, but keep seeing loads for sale. I was told I'd have mine in September this year, and then one miraculously appeared on launch day. And a whole load of them followed. It's very naive to believe the limited availability yarn.
c20 for sale just on PH, some near list and not selling. Tells you all you need to know.
The ones I have looked at are circa £4k over list!c20 for sale just on PH, some near list and not selling. Tells you all you need to know.

That's nuts. The 3 cars I know that have sold were at or below list. Mental paying £4k over. I don't like paying over list but hey ho it's only a few quid a month to the PCP'ers!
Good luck with it all Kananga.
After working out just how much I've spent on getting cars moved round over the years, last month I decided to buy a trailer (and suitable tow vehicle of course)... Can't believe how useful it has been already, and how all of a sudden you're everyones mate!
Just need to work out what track car to buy now that I can move it around the country!
But in all seriousness, if the start or finish is near London and I'm free that day, I'd be happy to work something out with you. I'm quite flexible in September, away from 1st Oct for 2 weeks though.

Anyone for an immediate delivery M2 manual (one to have in my view), my local dealer has one.
I think you're right about the manual M2 being the one to have! However, what I don't quite understand is why these cars seem to keep coming available; given the supposed demand don't dealers have a list of people waiting and if so why don't they just offer a cancelled order to one of the other people in the queue? The fact they seem to be finding their way to general sale does make me wonder whether demand is at the level some would have you believe.....JNW1 said:

I have heard of a few examples of this happening with UK BMW dealers.
Think they can also do the same with a demonstrator that they have in stock for a certain period but i'm not 100%?
Same with Porsche on the Cayman GT4. From what i can see there is still a healthy demand for the M2 versus supply, when that will change who knows
