Can anyone else not stand the badge on the grill?

Yes, it looks tacky, would be better if it was easiliy removable without leaving a blank mounting area.

When did they start putting that on?

What other differences was there on the LCI?

Nice to welcome another new owner into the fold smile

I agree about the grille badge - would be nice if this could come off

That looks stunning clap

I'm just not sure if I could have that combo and keep the interior looking clean having two young children (and a dog as of this Sunday!)

If you want to look at the standard seats just have a look at any 520d/530d M sport in the showroom as they are the same seat but with electric adjustment as standard.

The no cost 20" option is misleading as they are tied to the £6700 competition pack option so only a no cost option if you spend £6700.

They're not the same seat.

Some slight similarity in looks but totally different once seated as the Standard M5 Seat is a Sports Seat & the Multi Function is a Comfort Seat. In fact i've a sneaky feeling the bigger similarity is between the Multi Function Seat in an M5 & the optional Comfort Seat in more basic F10's.

The great thing about the M5 is it's superb straight out of the box regardless of options, just been across the moors on my favourite b road which was traffic free and what a car! A proper machine.

Having said that I've started to do a few mods to the car so far I've added:

1. Black gloss grills
2. M performance interior carbon trim

Next up I'm booked in for some ACS lowered springs and 12mm spacers all round at the end of the month.

I'm looking at getting these black gloss side grills as well like this to match the window surrounds and grills:

Let me know how the ACS springs perform as i'm just about to fit H&R Sports Springs to mine.

My 1st F10 M5 was Singapore Grey with Silverstone interior & it was very much a Q Car as blended in a little too much with the rest of the F10 range. When replacing i opted for the loudest combo i was comfortable with & of course it's all about personal taste but i've been hugely pleased with MCB & Sakhir.

The if you wife has the spare key then when she gets in the car will automatically change all the preferences and memory settings to however she has it set up. i have my dads spare key and when i get in it recognises this and syncs with my phone adjusts steering wheel and radio stations etc. very clever!

Everybody's input is helpful so much appreciated,

The 19's I really don't like tbh, 20's make it look more purposeful.
I didn't see what the price of the seats are but I do suffer from a bad lower bad so the more adjustments the better... But I've not viewed the standard seats?!
You have a good point about the online entertainment though, spotify is a good option.

Does the electric memory seats work with thinks like door mirrors and steering wheel? As my wife is over a foot smaller than me and am sure in the past I read that each key can be programmed to set the car seating position when opening??

Colour choice is a nightmare I've already lost 2 nights sleep!
I ruled out white as I never thought it suited it but then seen a pic of the individual pearl white and sakhir Orange leather and looked lush.

Need a UK pic thread of the cars as the only one I can find for colours is the use thread on another forum and they seem to have different colour options.
Oh and the good news is peter vardy have changed the figures back to 6999/598

That was my original choice but I thought perhaps a bit too loud when driving into a client's car park!

I've been very pleased with my combo but yours still looks stunning yes

You can also set multiple profiles up & this can be made to be the 1st thing to select when the cars started. This covers not only seats, mirrors & steering, but also Media, climate control, sat nav setup & driving modes etc. I've never used this as i'm the only one that drives the car, however it's a nifty gadget.

Neat! That's worth the 60k alone ha

Anyone got a link to the option list in the m5? Could do with maybe double checking it all, and making sure I haven't missed anything.

Probably quicker to check the BMW website as options/packages change.
