Only four colours and no silver wheel option at all for some reason. HUD would have been nice but not an option. Looking forward to see the car at IAA. Demo cars will allegedly be delivered to dealerships in March 2016.

I found it strange to read that the M seats were an option! That apart, I could see the logic of a more basic spec, but then a reversing camera biggrin Maybe as the journo said this is a spec to take with salt.

Well it is very unlikely there wouldn't at least be an option for front parking sensors (if it's not standard) ..

Don't think that will end up being the full option sheet. I'm sure they will add folding mirrors and parking sensors at the front.

Shame about the roof not being cf and there being no hud.

I disagree. Front parking sensors weren't an option on the 1M because there simply wasn't room behind the bumper for all the gubbins/workings due to the size of the engine/pipework etc. It was also the reason why the 1M had external headlight washers rather than pop-up.

Oh well.....maybe I won't be thinking of chopping in the 135i for a M2 now frown

Will wait to see UK pricing first, but I really dislike this limited choice rubbish that BMW seem so keen on these days, especially in this age of computerised production lines.

I think the options look fine to me.

I've gone from C63 to 640d (in December 2014) and boredom will be such that I think this could be perfect. Long Beach Blue with all the options please smile

Although I do wonder in the M3 / M4 will get some decent deals when this comes out?

Saw an M235i drive through the village yesterday and it's a cracking looking car. If honest, it was a little on the quiet side, but certainly looks good in the metal.
