New to the forum, so any help would be appreciated. I am picking up my Z4M coupe on Friday and I am very excited. Does anyone know if there are any good outdoor covers, the plant is immaculate and I want it to stay that way. Also how do you go about updating the Sat Nav from 2008. The dealer mentioned discs at £250!

I had an e46 M3 and cannot wait to hear that engine note again.

Any help or tips gratefully received.

Don't bother with an outdoor cover, they all end up scratching the paint. Just don't park under any trees.

It sounds like the car has the older CCC as you've mentioned DVDs. You could *cough* torrent *cough* the updated satnav discs, but to be honest Waze/Google Maps on your phone is going to be better as the updated maps still don't give you a full postcode option.

Thank you, I think I agree on the cover. I am not sure but think it is discs, how hard are they to come by, I am not crazy on the BMW price...

I got new discs for my Z4M online for about £30.

Work really well and there is a postcode function hidden away in the menu system if you do the software update at the same time.

Or you could get the same 'dodgy' disc by downloading/burning the torrent yourself for less than £1 - and stop funding criminal gangs, ISIS, etc. (allegedly wink)
