M6 Gran Coupe Limiter

Got the chance to take my M6 Gran Coupe down the runway @ Wings & Wheels today (Dunsfold) - I was fully expecting to get limited to 155mph - but reviewing footage my friend took I definitely went to 165 and was still going... I thought only the competition package version had the higher limit?

Were the figures from a vbox? I believe the limiter isn't dead on 155 but the speedo will over read a bit as well.

Limiter should kick in at just over an indicated 165mph. Competition pack cars have the same limit, it's just the M Drivers pack, which is not available in the UK, that raises the limit to about 190mph.

If showing 165 on the speedo then you probably were only doing 155mph.
