Delcara - car looks spot on.

Re the winter tyres question I run a set on my E60 M5 because first year I had it 2 inches of snow meant I couldn't even get it out of a perfectly flat car park.

I bought a set of wheels/tyres from my local main dealer and each year I swap over in Mid November and back to summer wheels and tyres in March. This year will be the fourth year I have used them and they are still on the same set of tyres which have now done about 25,000 miles.

Number of benefits of winter wheels and tyres

1) If it does snow you have loads of grip, I have pulled away on compacted snow on a steep incline no problem
2) It isn't just about snow, below 10 degrees C the rubber in normal tyres hardens and as a result you have less grip and they wear faster.
3) Your best wheels dont have to deal with all the salt and grit that comes off the roads in winter
4) When it snows find a nice quiet road covered in snow and M5 on winter tyres will slide at will but easy to catch as well.
