As per title. I am about to hand back 'my' F10 M5 after a 24 month lease and I've come across a pre-registered M3 with some a high spec.

Can anybody briefly summarise the LCI M3 changes that I gather have just recently happened. Would I be daft to buy an essentially band new (20 miles and registered to dealer) M3 that isn't an LCI?

If I don't go down the M3 purchase route then I will probably revert my original plan of another lease deal but on a 640d GC

Thanks

Can't comment on M3's as have no knowledge or experience of them.

Have you considered an M6/GC as I believe good deals exist on these now?

I think the LCI changes are pretty minimal. Rear lights are a bit different and I think the sat nav screen is "improved". They also changed some of the pricing on the options but overall it's pretty light touch as the M3 hasn't been put that long.

I haven't really looked at the deals on M6 GC, I do like them but assume they'll be more expensive to fund than my current M5 which was a pretty stinking deal a couple of years ago.

Sat Nav screen, bigger do you think or just 'improved'? I'm trying to recall if I read somewhere, possibly on PH, if there is also some suspension update? If so this is the bit that would be of most interest.

I can't seem to see any visual styling differences other than a minor tweak to the rear lights.

My 2015 M6 Gc CP is up for £62995:00, I am sure you could chip them, it was a great car and used NO Oil.

I have the LCI, M3, the sat-nav is much quicker and very much clearer, LED rear lights, chrome surrounds on the dash, upgraded exhaust sound and times when the Valves are open.
Some other stuff also.
I had the M5 and M6 GC CP before and do not miss them for one minute, this thing is very quick too 100 MPH.

Are you able to link me to where the car is currently for sale. Any further info may be useful. Did you own it or was it a lease car?

I bought it new last year in October, ELMS Bedford have it now, it has done 9K miles never tracked or thrashed, it's got most options including Paintshield SUNTEK on the front bumper and side sills.
It's a comp Pack car with the Forged 20" wheels, all brakes and tyres are as new.
EDIT: I bought it cash.

Thanks. I think it is the white one with Sakhir leather?

Does the M6 GC have folding rear seats, I know the non M GC's do as standard.

It's a comp pack car, but are't they the standard wheels rather than comp wheels?

Sorry, my M6 knowledge is not what it should be but it looks like a tempting option.

Comp wheels are CAST and crap, I went for the FORGED 20" wheels which are the best, the seats fold down and the extras list is long.

Thanks, interested in know why you think the cast cp wheels are crap compared to the forged standard ones?

Cast alloys get distortion and damage easy and cost nothing to make, the forged 20" BMW alloys cost £1000+ each speaks for it's self.
EDIT: it has the service pack also.
