Visually modified with OEM CSL parts is the way forward unless completely standard. Mine is running the Evolve Carbon Airbox, not OEM but the quality of the product is as good as.

Love the E46 M3s and cant see me selling mine anytime soon.

LSB is rare because it was pulled after I think two years of production....a lot of demonstrators were LSB or Pheonix Yellow as they were the two "special colours" for the E46 M3 relatively few cars were specced in those colours though. I saw one LSB cars years ago which had a Phoenix Yellow interior.....

The only lenses that are different are the Depo indicator units, the black grilles are OEM (colour matched) and it has OEM BMW badges all round(not black).. as I said 'OEM' or 'genuines CSL' is the way to go. It's a guide rather than a rule.

Jeez that black car looks nice.
I may need to reconsider my colour choice.

Well, I bought one on the weekend.
LSB inside and out.
Sadly, I suffered budget creep but in return I got a stonking car.

Chuffed doesn't even come close.

I need to stay away from these E46 M3 threads. Every time I sneak a peek, I end up spending the next 2 hours working my way through the classifieds. Second to my E30, they're just about the best looking M3 for me.

Love a LSB myself.

I'm very happy with my Carbon scwartz/red interior combination, but I've only seen one LSB e46 M3 on the road, and I have to say, it looked fantastic! I didn't like the promo photos of these, but it's true; some things are much better in the metal than in photos.

I agree. E30 is best looking of all but E46 is a close second.

Mine's got a few mods:
100 cell cats
Exhaust
Carbon airbox
3.91 diff
Coilovers
6 pots

I don't know about values, but in terms of fun to drive, its right up there with the 355.
The short diff and airbox are hilarious fun.

Mines totally standard as it left the factory. Agree...they are a hoot to hoon around the B roads up here in Norfolk! I can see why people upgrade the brakes - Porsche they are not in that department!

For a grand, a set of K-sports is a really good upgrade.
