F10 M5 - Parking it straight

Getting to know my M5 and I seem to struggle parking it straight. A problem I haven't had before in any car. Is it just me or do any others find it a bit strange to judge the angle from the drivers seat.
I know exactly what you mean. I also find it hard to gauge where the sides of the car are when coming up alongside an Ncp pay barrier etc. I'd hate to have to park one of these in a tight space without any kind of sensors, something I never worried about in my rs6 or c63 for example. I find the rear parking camera a godsend frankly, and thankfully I don't have to park this behemoth on London streets etc, as IMHO it's difficult to judge the proximity of things from the drivers seat.
And no, I ain't a woman.
I did of course, expect the drive like a women comments, which I would fully accept if it wasn't for the fact that I find our 7.5T horsebox easier to park than this. There is something odd that makes it harder than most to get straight. I don't have an issue gauging the width of it, just parking it dead straight.
It isn't the easiest beast in tight spaces. I struggled for a while until my young daughter showed me that we had surround view!
I kerbed one of the front wheels going through the width restrictions in Marlow bridge. First time ever in 35 years of driving, so it does take a bit of getting used to.

That bridge! I managed to do the same on a week old 911 back in 2009 and I've never forgotten it! I kerbed one of the front wheels going through the width restrictions in Marlow bridge. First time ever in 35 years of driving, so it does take a bit of getting used to.

Do Not go near the Rotherhithe Tunnel, you will be lucky not to curb a wheel.I kerbed one of the front wheels going through the width restrictions in Marlow bridge. First time ever in 35 years of driving, so it does take a bit of getting used to.

There is a hotel on Kensington high street (I forget the name of it), the car park is underground and has a helter skelter style ramp, I went down there in an old F10 and came out with all 4 wheels kerbed on the entire circumference they were FUBAR.

When I was getting a quote for repair, the wheel bloke told me that he had mangled all 4 rims on his Q7 in one go over the bridge.
