Yes it's the SMG that takes a bit of getting used to but if you've already had it on the M3 then you know what it's like. I've never had any other SMG BMW but from what I've read the SMG 3 on the M5/M6 is a lot better than SMG 2 on the E46 M3.

Well I'm finally home alert a massive detour thanks to the m1 being shut all day.
First impressions wow it's fast. But much more refined and quiet than I was expecting.
I need to have a proper play and get it all set up how I like but I'm very impressed so far.

Congrats on the new purchase. They're certainly a good looking car. I found the SMG occasionally dimwitted but nothing I couldn't live with. Had I kept it, I would have certainly gone for the exhaust mod to make it a little less quiet. I don't miss how thirsty it could be though.
