weir because on wife's auto you cant even knock out of gera when moving ?

Completely different type of "auto" box. On the normal torque converters it's not recommended to shift from D to N when at a standstill! The SMG on the other hand is a manual box with an automated clutch.

Leave the side mirrors out (i.e. don't use the switch) when you get out of the car and hold down the lock button for a few seconds. The doors should lock and the mirrors should also fold up. You won't need the hi fi as the engine noise will be entertaining enough

thanks will give a try , when i drove home couldn't get radio to tune and no cd in so drove home to sound of engine anyway ha ha , thanks about mirrors as really handy not coming back to car and having them knocked off ...

If the mirror adjustment panel looks like this on your car, pushing the smaller button at the bottom will fold the mirrors
