m6 auto door lock

anybody know if there is a way to make car more user friendly regarding door locking ? I drive car, the doors all auto lock , then when i pick up someone i have to lean over to unlock doors , if my seat belt on have to undue , is there a button / trick or something on i drive setting that i can turn off (read manual but cant see it )? we don't get car jacked where i live so would like people to be able to get in & out bit quicker ?
Yes it's in I drive, on the main screen press down on I drive knob so you go into information then go into settings and its in there, scroll down and un tick the box that says auto door locking. If you can't find it I'll go out to my car and go throigh the exact steps and post it up. The settings you are changing are for the key fob you are using so you can have different settings for each key fob. The guy I bought mine off had his key fob programmed so the door stayed unlocked but the second key fob was his wife's and he had that set up so the doors locked when driving off.

Thanks , done it , never found that section.... dont suppose you know if i can alter setting on sat nav , the car came from france , so every time i go to " new destination" it starts france at top , i have to scroll right down bottom to uk before i can put in anything ? France is not even first in alphabetical order so don't know why ??

Isn't there a door unlock button on the dash by the hazard light switch?

Ha ha i am more of american muscle car guy , get in start and go , these things have so many settings/ buttons, bit overload really , but will get there , must admit the key side of things seem a bit stupid as it wont always come out switch & gearbox settings so stupid , who on earth would select a slow shift speed ???Gassing Station | M Power | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
