F10 M5 Sump picture wanted
Discussion
I am considering fitting an engine oil pre heater, possibly a Wolverine stick on pad type.

Does anyone have a picture of the bottom of the sump on an F10 M5 so I can see if this would be viable?
Otherwise I imagine it is up on a ramp and remove a cover/bracing plate?
I'm guessing here as I have not looked under there at all as yet. (it's cold and wet out there!)

Hello guys
Brilliant pic, thank you for that. Typical, the easily accessed bit has fins on it which make sticking a pad on impossible.
Yes, there is a lot of oil in there. The thought behind this is that my most regular journey is a 25 mile round trip on country roads. At the moment I am almost at my destination before the oil comes up to temperature and I am able to give it some "welly". It is frustrating tootling along for half my journey!
Ah well, patience is a virtue, good thing come to those that wait, etc. etc.
