What happened to all the M5 and M6 deals BMW were throwing away in 2014 / 15?

Is there anything similar available right now?

In the market for an M6.....

Thanks

They can't sell M6s, can they?

They are massively overpriced to begin with, so some of the 0% deals with hefty contributions look good, but just check the residuals!

Owning one would bother me come selling time....flogging one privately is rather difficult, meaning that being raped by a dealer is almost inevitable.

I like them though, preferring the look of the coupe to the gran coupe.

I agree hence why I'm asking if there are any deals around smile

Two and a half years ago a cousin managed to get a 24 month deal for around £540 a month which was a bloody steal!

A customer of mine the other week had a new m6 (2nd one as the first shat its engine at 9k) he said his was 105k list, iirc he paid somewhere in the mid-low 90's.i dread to think what it will be worth after 3 years

It's unbelievable, isn't it?

The stupidity of some people is breathtaking.

I've been keeping an eye on a few M-cars, all of which have been lying around dealerships for a while, one since late September.

Can you imagine the stress involved in having to sell them for a living?

I love M-cars, especially M5s of course, but I HATE the dealership experience in every way, from the chavy, wide-boy pricks who sell them, to the wally sales managers in their side offices, to the bored looking tarts on reception who think they're God's gift to men, to Dave the master technician who puts the wrong oil in your car, to Nigel the Product Genius.....to Derek the Dealer Principal!!

I think it might be 911 time......maybe not!!

My M dealer is brilliant, all down to earth, very helpful many are petrol heads my SA has an RS4 and "gets" why you care about your car.

They always have a great selection of M cars as well.

I agree some are awful though.

My last six series lost 90% of its value in ten years. Fortunately I know that because I bought it at 10% of its sale price.

I do recall people slashing mad money off the 6 series in general when the 4 series came out, as nobody wanted the 6 anymore, despite it being an epic car.

I simply could not drop 100K on one - and I love them - I'd be looking at a nearly-new Aston or something instead. Call me a brand snob if you like (And I love my BMWs).

Frankly I prefer the previous generation anyway, and that V10... hmm...
