I think my Birds fettled 335i is a much quicker fast road car than my previous E46 M3, it rides and handles better in my opinion. I've not spent time in an M5 or E92 M3 for comparison though.

Thanks guys....that's very interesting. I'd been considering adding a Quaife and Birds B3 kit, based upon various reviews and this Chris Harris vid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHoj0XUg058 Balance during transition from grip to slip looked like a well developed setup to me........

I've got a 135i with birds B1 suspension and it's so unsettled it's unreal frown

My R32 would be far better cross country and now wish I'd kept

Wish I'd saved and gone M3
Have you taken it back to them? I had the full Birds B1 suspension and ARBs and the handling was benign and 10x more settled than on the OEM setup. Before when braking hard the car would skitter all over the place, after it had so much more contact and getting back on the power was much improved through the bumps.

They didn't fit, but have been trying to arrange with Kevin for it to be looked at.

Birds recommend not to fit ARBs unless going LSD

Other thoughts, sell car, save a bit more ££ for M3.

Still very much in two minds about this.
