I have the same 750bhp map and it's definitely not too much for the car. If anything its made it a little less dramatic as I spend less time in the upper end of the power band given that the car is making so much power in the midrange - you can do in fourth what third would have done as standard, meaning by the time you're at 5k rpm you've lost your license. I hardly ever accelerate hard in second because its over in moments, it feels like first gear, and is traction limited in all but optimal conditions.

That said, I nailed it up a damp hill this morning (running Michelin PA4 winter tyres) and it really hopked up good through third gear - I had my brother in the passenger seat who is an AWD fanboy with an RS2 and mapped 335xd and he was staggered by the available grip for the conditions. The assumption that you somehow can't use these cars for half the year is nonsense.

Makes sense, my one is standard - is the remap worth it or is it too much for the car to take unless you feather the throttle?
Worth it in every measure. Takes the car into GT-R baiting land & of course you lose the top speed limiter.

I don't drive the car much differently with a Stage 2 map than i did standard or with a Stage 1. You just have to be aware you have a bucket load more power & more importantly torque on tap so that needs some respect but doesn't lessen traction or usability, if anything it enhances it.
