It looks a nice one.

The number plate and the Recaro LS's rings a few bells when the owner bought it iirc.

I don't know it, but it does look rather nice and clean, especially under the bonnet. Given the asking prices of late £30K looks very reasonable ! Any rust or issues that need addressing ?

It didn't hang around long on PH - looked like a really clean, well presented car and if anything too cheap. Hope you like it buddy, they're not the fastest cars out there but everyone loves an E30 !

I'm fairly certain it's this car, going by the photos.

It is (was) my car, it is indeed the same car as in the Munich Legends ad. They did have it for nearly 3 months at £37k and an ad that said 'detailed write up to follow' for that time.... I thought I could do a better job and indeed it sold within 2 days and I had a queue of genuine buyers lined up. Too cheap...? I don't think so, it was priced correctly in the market when compared with what's been out there for the last few months not selling.... It's even more genuine and solid than my pictures and write up could describe smile

It should be in an upcoming issue of Top gear Magazine too along with a new m3/4, Munich Legends took it up there when they had it. Despite me asking them NOT to use it if the weather looked in any way unpredictable the car came back to me with a 10 minute 'valet' and road salt and muck in the wheelarches etc and took a full day of cleaning to bring it back to what it looked like prior to them taking it.

Anyway Sat1s1ngh you will have a terrific car on Saturday when you collect it, I will try and dig out the details of the previous long term owner who actually contacted me on here when I first bought it. I don't recommend Munich Legends for any future servicing etc.

It is a lovely car and Shawn is the ideal guy you buy a car from. It was spotless on viewing and a proper nice chap!

Just thought i'd ask if there was any old thread on it.

A real credit to Shawn. I wasn't in the market for a red M3 at first.
The garage doors didn't fully open and I told my friend it's a done deal.

Same here. Unfortunately I just didn't have a choice at my price point. I actually wanted white and my ideal spec' would have been no sunroof and keep fit windows.

2 years on though and I really like it now.

Anyway, am sure you'll have a lot of fun and looks a great example for the money.

Yes, I've noticed they often have cars advertised for ages without a full write up. I always assumed they were non-existent bait cars. Bit odd really, it's not as if they've got 100 cars. Maybe that mint Z1 I've been drooling over for about 6 months exists after all....

Surprised ML did so little to try and sell this car. Especially as £37k was actually pretty reasonably priced when compared to other cars that have been advertised/sold in recent months and especially so, when you see what other M3's are on offer for £30k.

This looks pretty tidy in the photo. Dig a bit deeper though and it has serious rust issues and is £27k without the engine! Add another £3k if you want that included. laugh

This thread is a pretty good guide to UK prices over the past couple of years and a recent average is £43+k. Several SE have made £90+k although listings remain on many sites, despite cars actually being sold.

Looks lovely, reminds me of my first one I bought 15 odd years ago. I missed it so much when I sold it I had to buy another.

Enjoy thumbup
