BMW M2 delivery date

So can anyone confirm the current lead times for an M2? Is it still over 12 months?

I've been waiting 12 months already and not a clue when the car will come. All I've been told is hopefully some point in 2017. Got to say Bmw are a terrible brand for communication

I've just been offered a new alpinewhite with good spec H/K, M-exhaust, Alcantara, etc
First offer price from dealer at £54k. January delivery I think.
I'm not interested but is anyone else ?

Ordered mine in April 2016 and was told that it SHOULD be here March-April 2017 but I've still not even had a confirmed delivery slot as yet for 2017.

I ordered mine in March and received my build slot about 6 weeks ago. Might be worth calling for an update in case it has now been scheduled.

Spoke to them 2 weeks and was told "Nothing to be concerned about, perfectly normal" etc etc

I was order number 5 for my dealership Cooper's in Colchester.

Ordered May 2017. Just got offered a build slot (they had a drop-out), but have turned it down also as not ready until the New Year (and still figuring out whether I actually want one tbh).

First Timer Poster! I put a deposit down on an M2 in early March but still haven't been allocated a build slot.

Any Idea when BMW will notify UK dealerships of the dates and quantities for their 2017 allocation?

I am told I am second in the queue for 2017.

Still hoping to take delivery in March or April.

Heard from a friend that a main dealer in oxford (North Oxford Garage?) apparently has a physical car which they have for sale.

Needs to find a home before end of month (quarter-end I guess).

Apparently it is brand new and awaiting delivery to the dealership.
Spec: Black Sapphire, Black Dakota Leather, DCT, reverse camera, comfort access, folding mirrors, electric seats, lumbar support, seat heating, harman kardon, visibility pack, sun protection.

Just in case helpful to anyone waiting for clarity who likes the spec...

Heard from Coopers BMW yesterday and I'm now apparently their 1st allocation for 2017.

Ordered April 2016 so a 9 month wait if all goes to plan. Not too bad I don't think

My Daughter took delivery today, only the dealers second car (apart from their Demo)

Their next car is march 17. They're a big dealer too

I like that. That's the colour combo I would have chosen if I'd taken delivery of my September car.

Checked with my dealer today and found out I am 5 or 8 for 2017. They expect to fill the total 8 orders next year, so anticipating an increase in build slots. Also told me that first year road tax would be £1,200 and then dropping to £140 a year (I have ordered a manual). As I mentioned on another M2 thread, that will have to be a consideration closer to the time if you can get a low mileage used car for less than list in 6 months time.

PLUS £310 for 5 years, so 140+310. enjoy.
