Im inclined to think the VO is a bit loud/tacky for my liking.
It reminds me of a colour someone would spray their corsa.
Im very surprised so many pick that as their favourite colour.

On a bright Sunny day VO is stunning. It just looks a bit meh the rest of the time.

Only colour to have it in mind.

and WTF is going on with prices? Low mileage cars have gone crazy.

White for me, vo is looks great on sunny days but the unwanted attention put me off.
After a year of ownership I like the white even more.

I am currently looking to swap my M135i for something more interesting.

Simple question: Do we think these a bargain at current money?

They are a bargain if you look at the residual value ..........
I'd rather sink 40 odd grand into a 1M coupe than an M2

For me they are not a bargain as such, when list price new in 2011 was £39999 however supply and demand has meant values stayed strong, and as the cars get older and pile on the miles, i'm inclined to say still not a bargain . Having driven one at the time of launch it didn't seem £32K better than my M3 and so i passed on the build slot for a factory order. In hindsight i could have bought it, run it for 4 years and 40k miles and got all my money back!

That said, its a fairly safe place to sit your £40K and i would say it wont lose you a load of money provided you keep it standard condition and low ish mileage.

I guess the question is can you justify £40K on a 5 year old car? and do you want one bad enough?

They seem a better buy than the current M2, which is not ltd edition, and i suspect once production is ramped up will start to drop in price as supply increases.
