About to place a deposit on an M2

As above really. Next week I'm going for a demo in an M2. Have a rough idea on sepc and colour. Manual is a must. I am no were near as wealthy as some on these forums however I want to set a goal and reach it. A paramedic to trade. Young ish, 34 years old lol. Dealer says the car currently has a two year wait which suits me perfectly as I'll need to save hard and put in the overtime to build a good deposit. My dream realistic car is an M3 however I was in BMW and seen the M2 and thought it was perfect. So really just looking for some support from the PH gang. Ideas on spec etc and really to make sure i'll not loose a fortune on something i've worked so hard for.
