Just got myself a MCB M5 Competition, fully load as they say in the US.
Is it sad that my favourite extra is the all leather dash :-)

Looks very nice! Lets see some more pics! Also when you say 'fully loaded' what does it have?

Thanks guys, can't do anything else but enjoy the beast.
Did I say. ' THEY ARE UTTERLY MENTAL MACHINES '
For the size and comfort you get in the M5, it's amazing how it
Picks up,speed when you put the hammer down.
Utterly sublime and super smooth. Loving it.

Lovely car, adaptive led's are quite rare as the lci's came standard with xenons, but they make a big difference to the appearance of the car... In a good way

Seems like here are 3-5 under £30k now F10 M5 and only 1 has 100k miles.

C63 as other threads have mentioned has a bit of "it's got loadza power innit brov" following.

There is no comparison, M5 all day long.

The C63 is driven by a certain type and can usually be seen accelerating in built up areas so that people turn to look at the car, thereby giving C63 man the reassurance he craves.

I detest them, especially the naff auto box, that doesn't do what you want when you want it.

M5s are just so cool, consummate all-rounder.

I feel another one coming.....

Actually isn't there something like a 130bhp deficit too C63 v M5?

The C63 does sound dirty for sure but the M5 is a big boys toy no question plus if you want it to ever get faster a remap is cheaper than adding a supercharger or turbo

Have to say, C63 AMG is an amazing machine, and the noise. Fan bloody tastic..............
Best sounding car I have ever owned including V12 Ferraris, Porsche air cooled and Gt3/ Gt2s.
You simply cannot better that noise. M5 is a pussycat competing with a Lion.

But the M5 has a good bit more space inside, is a good bit more refined for cruising in lux limo mode.
And it can still do the nutter car job with ease too. Hence I now have the M5.
But please don't be put of the C63, they are awesome too, just a different awesome

Old

To be fair....

C63 - M3
E63 - M5

Hence why the M5 has more space yes

Agreed, I needed more space and I liked the look of the M5 way more than the E63.

I really dont like the look of the current E63, M5 looks way nicer. I had the previous model C63 and it was superb, very unruly but a wonderful thing, the new one takes care of what didnt work in the old one and makes it even better apparently.

That said I havent had an M5 and think it is an itch I need to scratch!
